I am an illustrator/ designer, rooted in realism with a distinctive dynamic energy, my illustrations are a perfect fit for any project that has the need for a contemporary, straightforward visual that is accessible to a wide audience, yet displays an edge. I began drawing at an early age as a way of personally connecting with the interesting things around me. I would recreate the posters on my walls, album covers or my favorite comic books. It’s been a long road since that time, but I knew my career path should then lead toward illustration. My work has won a few awards, I've owned an airbrush shop and now am experiencing success as a freelance artist. I graduated from Chadsey High School majoring in fine arts and after a small stint at Henry Ford Community College, I am currently finishing up my degree in Media and Communication Arts with a focus in Art for Advertising from Macomb College.  Today, my work is driven strongly by emotion. My inspiration begins with realism, then taps into both the heart and fringes of popular culture to reflect an exciting energy with every flowing stroke, expressive color, and arresting composition. Home is in a small suburb of Detroit, Michigan, where I enjoy every moment I can with my wife and two daughters, fishing, reading, cooking, doodling, and watching a movie or catching a game on TV.
